11 May 2009 Family Update

Today was a big day! Talor started kindergarten this afternoon. He went from 12:45 - 3:15 and in the end had a good time. Although we were called to get him a bit early, due to the fact that he wanted dad and was a bit overwhelmed and afraid to interact a lot with other kids, he said it was fun and that he is looking forward to going back again tomorrow. Here are a few of the pictures from just before we left to go today.

We also had a good Mother's Day here on Sunday. Shell now has her craft room done and she has been spending whatever time she can in there. We had her family over for dinner, which was very nice, and the kids had a big play. Talor was so excited to have everyone around that he tried to put Lola's feet in his new gumboots. Layla's hair is also getting long, so we got some hair ties and had a play with that. We think she looks pretty cute.

Finally, Saturday was Pakuranga College's school ball. I asked Shell if she would be my date and she agreed, so we went. Here are a few of the pictures of the two of us dressed up. I don't think that I have worn that jacket in years...and probably won't again for a while. Overall it was a good night and nice to be out - just the two of us.
