Good morning big wide world!

Well, I thought it was about time that we joined the rest of the internet world and started a blog!
So..... hi, this will give you a little glimpse into our world and hopefully keep everyone in touch with what we've been up to. Both Jon and I will be adding to this so feel free to comment in :)

We were all woken up early with Miss Layla deciding that that 5:10am was wake up time, so with the whole house up before the sun, it was decided that a big breakfast was in order. At the moment Jon and Talor are busy making pancakes for breakfast, mmm....

Nothing else is planned for the day, the rain is here again so we will probably just stay inside. I got Talor the movie Valiant out from the library and he seems to like it, so I'm sure that will be watched a couple of times.

And just a couple more photos from the bath last night... both the kids love the water and would spend the whole day in the tub if they could.

Gotta love the new Ecobubs Wool Pocket Nappy!!!!

Last weekend we had a great trip to Waiheke with all the family to celebrate my birthday and Dad's. Thanks to Amanda (and Row) for organising and to Mum and Dad. We stayed at a batch called the Hen House and yes it did have chickens, and yes we did have fresh eggs for breakfast both mornings! Talor thought the chickens were great and I would love it if we could have chickens at our place but the council has different ideas!!! We took the car ferry across on Friday lunch time and Jon joined us on Saturday after his rugby team played their last game, which they won 39-0. The weather wasn't too bad, and we ventured out to see the local market and of course to pick up Jon. Here's a couple of photos,
The car ferry on the way over, love the hair Grumpy!

What beautiful children, but I guess I'm biased because I'm the Nana. Darling, it looks like haircut time --doesn't the wind play havoc with the hairstyle
