Tigers vs Twins

Grandma, Talor, Layla, Shelley, Uncle Dan, Jacob, Holden and I went to see the Tigers and Twins play just before the All Star break. Although the Tigers didn't have enough on the day, we all had a blast and looked great!

Dan and I were able to bring the kids down on the field after the game to run the bases. We had a ball but Layla got a bit freaked out by Paws (the mascot). She made it to 2nd base and then I had to carry her the rest of the way. What a cool experience for them (and us)!

Mount Pleasant Visit

We had a great time visiting everyone in Mt. Pleasant during our 2nd week. It was so nice of everyone to make the trip over and we loved catching up with you all. Thank you Aunt Susan and Norb for your very warm hospitality and for kicking my butt in golf (Norb).

Thanks to GG's persistence at the casino we were able to enjoy a nice breakfast at the Soaring Eagle Casino. Pretty tasty!

Good Times In The States

We had some photos taken downtown Rockford with all the cousins that made it to visit - they did pretty good and the photos came out well.

Well, this was the end. We had four flights to get home and the kids were pros by this time. They did a great job and the trip was a ton of fun.

We stopped in California for a long layover and went to Dan's house for a visit. Layla got a chance to play with some of Jacob's toys. This one was loud, so thank God it didn't make it into our luggage.
